Hi. This is Sadie, a Bernese Mountain Dog, frequently called a Berner. I’m Jim, her “people dad.” We’ve designed this website to gather anecdotes about the laughable, lovable, almost unbelievable, sometimes down right frustrating, and occasionally life-saving things these wonderful creatures do with, for and to their people. Check out these Berner Tales.
Sadie wants to pay homage to her Swiss heritage. That’s why we’re calling this Berner Platz, which translates from Swiss-German to “Berner Place.”

Please don’t purchase from a pet store or an online site that looks and sounds good, but might not provide good stock from healthy parents.
